Werewolf. Irish accent.

When Adam was about eighteen years old, he decided to go off in search of his father who seriously hurt and destroyed his mother and had six kids with her without ever sticking around to actually raise them. Eventually he found him, his name was Lucien and he is the most powerful, oldest werewolf there is. When he did, he couldn't go back without putting the rest of his family at risk of being turned into Lucien's little personal army. It turns out his father had genetically engineered these kids, one after the other.

Lucien is a member of the Society (an organization made up of the oldest of all the species who believes wanderers should be eradicated completely along with believing that angels, demons, vampires, and werewolves should follow their nature/calling and not resist, it's made up of four factions based on the four main supernatural species in Chicago). Lucien also recently suffered a psychotic break when Virginia (the witch that Lucien was obsessed over and connected to him giving him extra power offed herself), and Adam, who helped Virginia do so because he loved her, found his father and stuck a sword in him to buy everyone some time. However, part of the genetic code means Hales cannot kill their own blood. Lucien can't kill his sons (permanently at least), and his sons can't kill him though Lucien's immortal anyway so killing him is next to impossible.

So Adam realizing his father would be... pissed... got the fuck out and headed to Chicago. His one purpose in life now is to find a way to kill Lucien before he can harm his brothers or Sarah Monroe who carries Virginia's blood in her.
